Jodi Remke, Chief Administrative Law Judge - Appellate Operations

Jodi Remke started with CUIAB in June 2018. From 2014-2018, pursuant to an appointment by Governor Brown, Jodi served as the Chair of the Fair Political Practices Commission. Prior to the FPPC, Jodi was appointed by the California Supreme Court in 2006 to serve as Presiding Judge of the State Bar Court. In that position, she sat on a three-judge panel that hears appeals in attorney disciplinary and regulatory cases. From 2000-2006, she was appointed by the Senate Rules Committee to serve as a trial judge on the State Bar Court. Prior to her judicial career, Jodi was counsel to the California Senate Judiciary Committee, practiced real estate law with the firm of Miller, Starr and Regalia in Oakland, and was a Vista attorney in Montana representing clients in domestic violence cases and advocating on behalf of children with disabilities in a rural, underserved area. She has also served on the board of directors of Project Open Hand and Girls Inc.
